Portland- The Maine Mammoths sign 6’0 205 Defensive Back Cory Morrow for his second season of arena football. Beginning his career attending the Carolina Cobra’s camp in 2017, Morrow ended up signing on with the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks. In the five games that Cory played as a Steelhawk, he racked up 30 total tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, and 3 pass breakups.
Cory Morrow Attended the University of Akron form 2012-2016. As a redshirt freshman, Cory was named Akron’s Harry “Doc” Smith outstanding freshman defensive award winner. During his college career, he amassed 32 total tackles, (19 solo, 13 assisted and one forced fumble)
Morrow is a Geneva, Ohio native. He was a four letter winner for Geneva High School, as well as, being named ALL-County and first team ALL-PAC as a senior. An outstanding player, Morrow was also named All-District and Ashtabula County Defensive back of the Year in 2011.
