PORTLAND- German Romero-Rosales (6’3, 315) signs with the Maine Mammoths for his first year of arena football.
Rosales began his college playing career at San Diego Mesa College in San Diego, CA during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. After taking time off of school, Rosales eventually returned to the playing field by joining Western New Mexico University from 2014-2016. Although Rosales did not see any game action during the 2014 season, Rosales played in six games in 2015 and helped the team finish with 1,497 rushing yards, 20 rushing touchdowns, 3,897 passing yards and 26 passing touchdowns.
In 2016, Rosales started nine games at center and helped the Western New Mexico offense average 26.9 points per game and 407.9 yards per game while scoring 25 passing touchdowns and 11 rushing touchdowns. After Rosales finished college at WNMU, he joined the coaching staff in 2017 as the team’s tight ends coach and assistant offensive line coach.
Rosales is a native of San Diego, California.
