PORTLAND- Devin Wilson (6’3,210) signs with the Maine Mammoths for his fourth year of arena football. Last year, Wilson played for the National Arena Champions, the Jacksonville Sharks, and recorded 25 receptions for 237 yards and four touchdowns in nine games. Wilson played for the Cleveland Gladiators in 2016 where he had 21 catches for 262 yards and nine touchdowns. In 2015, Wilson started his career with the Richmond Raiders of the PIFL. As a rookie, he had 40 catches for 483 yards and eight touchdowns.
Wilson attended Tennessee State, where he played wide receiver. In 2009, Wilson started one game and recorded one catch for five yards. In his sophomore year in 2010, Wilson played in four games. In those four games, he had 10 receptions for 114 yards. In his junior year, Wilson started all 11 games, caught 48 passes for 586 yards and two touchdowns. In 2012, Wilson started in all 11 games. He had 17 catches for 230 yards and four touchdowns.
Wilson is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and attended Pope John II High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He was named All-Region in his junior and senior year for football. He was also named All-Region in track and field.
