Veteran Wide Receiver Returns to Maine

PORTLAND- Wide Receiver Rob Brown (5’9,180) signs with the Maine Mammoths for his third year of arena football. Last season, Brown played with the Mammoths and recorded 43 receptions for 520 yards and 10 touchdowns. Of all of the Mammoths receivers, Brown had the highest average when it comes to yards per game at 86.7 yards. In 2016, Brown played for the Tri-Cities Fever of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He earned Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 15 that season. He also had six kick returns for 118 yards and one touchdown in one game against the Green Bay Blizzard alone.
Brown attended Union College where he played running back. During his freshman year at Union College, Brown rushed 349 yards and one touchdown. He rushed 82 times for 558 yards in his sophomore year. In his junior year, he had an outstanding 1,110 yards and 10 touchdowns. 
Brown is a native of Daytona Beach, FL and attended high school at Atlantic High School in Port Orange, FL.
The Maine Mammoths are members of the National Arena League (NAL).
