FAMU receiver Norwood joins the Mammoths

Portland- The Maine Mammoths sign Wide receiver Brandon Norwood for his first season of arena football. At 6’1” 175, Norwood is a promising prospect for the Mammoths offense.
As a freshman for Florida A&M University (FAMU), Brandon quickly became the go-to player for the team in their passing game. He was the second freshman in Rattler history to lead in receiving with 36 catches for 516 yards & 1 touchdown. His overall college career stats (2014-2018) are solid. In 45 games, he had 185 receptions for 1,926 yards, and 10 touchdowns. Norwood also returned 17 kickoffs for 365 yards.
Brandon Norwood is an Atlanta, GA native. He attended Cedar Grove High School, where he was a very highly regarded prep school student. Norwood’s talent at Cedar Grove earned him many offers from teams across the SEC & ACC, before he committed to become a Rattler for FAMU.
The Maine Mammoths are members of the National Arena League (NAL).
