Spain signed with the Maine Mammoths on December 13, 2017. Spain is entering his third season in arena football, but fourth year as a pro.

Pro Experience: Prior to entering the National Arena League, Spain spent one season in the Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) with the Tri-Cities Fever and Richmond Riders. Spain helped the Riders to an 8-4 record and an appereance in the PIFL Cup IV against the Columbus Lions during the 2015 season. In 2017, Spain played with the High County Grizzlies as an offensive lineman and helped the team rush for 401 yards (2nd-Most in the NAL), 2020 total offensive yards and 17 rushing touchdowns. Spain also caught two passes for 30 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown catch in a 94-6 win against the Dayton Wolfpack.
College: During his college career, Spain began playing at Hampton University in 2009 before transferring to Alabama A&M and then Norfolk State University. Spain played in over 23 games at right guard with the Spartans and was chosen to play in the 2013 FCS Senior Scout Bowl in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina after his senior season.
Personal: Spain is a Virgina native born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia and played high school football at Indian River High School. Spain received the Second Team All-Southeastern District Center Honors award.
